Where have we been?????

So sorry the blog has been left alone for so long!! Our life is very hectic these days. I am back to work and we are all getting used to getting back into the routine. Josh and I are doing well. Getting ready to go to the home opener of the Colts. We have enjoyed friends weddings, trips to visit grandparents, and trying to keep up with the boys. We have not had a free weekend in 2 months and now I do not see a free one for another month.

The boys are doing great. Eli is continuing to sprout up. He enjoyed playing T-ball and now soccer. It is so fun to watch him learn everything. He is also no longer at the same babysitter as the twins. He is going to a preschool which he loves. The teacher stated that she would love to have a class full of Eli's. Every day he is doing something new and interesting. I can't believe how fast he can learn different things. I did make me a little sad just realizing one more year and he is off to school. I can not believe it!

The twins are very busy keeping us on our toes. They are huge!! They are wearing clothes that Eli was just in. They enjoy anything out doors, riding their tricycles, playing catch, running anywere, and swimming. They were little fish this year. I would be playing with them and they would just fling themselves underwater and stay there until it freaked me out and I would yell at them to get up. They would wrestle in the pool and pin each other under water. It was quite tramatic for me.

Over all we had an awesome summer and are enjoying a lot of dry weather here in Indy. We are outside non-stop which means a lot of baths for us. I am going to attach pictures from random activities and my goal is to update every other week, trying to get back into my schedule.

Eli out on the field. T-ball was a great experience. He really did well hitting. Fielding was a lot of standing around and then a heard chasing a ball.
The twins enjoying some pool time on vacation.

The boys on Grandpas boat. They really enjoyed themselves and even went tubing.

I just love this picture, they all look so old. Stay tuned for more pictures!

Crazy Days of Summer

I can not believe that the summer is half way through. We are having an amazing time playing outside, traveling, going to friends, etc. We have made a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's new cottage and are planning another one. We have visited friends in Marion for a fun filled weekend. We are planning another trip to NC. It is a lot of fun....very busy. The boys are doing great. Attached are some pictures from our summer fun.

The boys loved filling up their dump trucks and running along the beach at the cottage. There are sand bars all over so the kids loved getting into the water.
The family getting ready to roast some marshmallows. Eli loved doing it.

The crew out relaxing having a good time.

We will make fun out of anything. We had two pools: our blow up pool and canoe

A Josh inventions. Water slide with a slip and slide off of it. The boys LOVED it.

Long Time No See!!

So sorry that I have been missing. It is two days away from the end of the school year and there have been some hectic ones. The boys are getting so big and we are having a lot of fun outside. I am just going to post some pictures. I will do a long update once school is over. Two days, yes!!

The kids enjoying dinner after fun in the sprinkler and home made water slide.
My husband is very creative with the most dangerous things!!

They really enjoyed the sprinkler after a long day at the hot track to see some Indy cars!

Eli and McKenzie were huge race enthusiasts. They sat up close to see all the cars go by.

Happy Easter!!

Well, we have had a very busy month. I am now at the end of my Spring Break and have realized how ready I am for summer vacation. We are almost there. We have had a lot of changes since the twins birthday. They have moved to big boy beds succesfully. We do have issues with them wanting to play all through nap time but we are working our way through it. They stay in bed though and do well at night time. They are talking so much more and just seem to be getting bigger and bigger. They LOVE playing outside. We got to have a week just with them when Eli went to Disney World with Grandma and Grandpa Block. We enjoyed the time as they enjoyed all the attention. However we heard a lot of questions about where Eli was and when was he going to be home.

Eli had a great time in Disney World. Every day he is telling us something else that he did. He really did love everything. He also enjoyed swimming, which he was not too sure about it at first. But after getting used to it he loved going under and swimming. He loved Goofy and the race car ride. He really liked the Lion King show and I still here him singing the songs from the play here and there. He got to go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. He was exhausted when he got home but keeps on talking about it.

This weekend was very enjoyable. The weather has been amazing so we have been outside a lot. We did two easter egg hunts along with a big easter lunch. the boys loved it.

And now...we have two 2 year olds!!!

I can hardly believe that we are at this point in time. The twins second birthday is today. It has been a roller coaster of emotions for me. I am so proud of how well they are doing but I am sad that they are no longer my babies. Every day they are acting more and more like big boys. They had their second year dr. appointment and both are measuring around the 95% for everything. They are my big guys.

Andrew is just amazing right now. He is really having a sense of humor about things. He is very helpful with everything. He is not quit as emotional as he was a few months ago. He loves to dance and sing right now. He also really likes to color. He is Eli's shadow and loves being with him at all times. We had a great weekend last weekend with just the twins. Andrew really enjoyed the extra time to cuddle with mom and dad. He got to run around in the snow a little and loved it. He was just walking and watching what his feet were doing to the snow.

Caleb is doing just as well as Andrew. Right now he is a little bit more of the feisty one then Andrew. He just lets us know how he is feeling about everything. He is able to communicate a lot better within the past month about what he wants so we are improving in that. He too loves to color right now. He is definitly more independent and likes to play a little bit more on his own. Caleb is a little bit bigger all around. He took a little bit to get used to the snow but once he did he was just in love with it as Andrew.

We are so blessed to have two very healthy and happy two year olds, just can't believe they are getting this old. Attached are pictures of the two from birth to some recent pictures.

We have a 4 year old

Eli just a couple of weeks old!!

Can you believe that this beautiful baby is now four years old. It seems just like yesterday that he was born. We had his birthday party along with his cousin, McKenzie's 5th birthday, at Monkey Joe's yesterday. The kids had a blast and then we had family over for dinner afterwords. It was an exhausting day but Eli really enjoyed himself. If anything it made me realize how independent he is. He really didn't need me around for anything, opening presents, eating, playing, etc. He was happy as long as he was playing with his friends. It is very exciting but for a mom also a little sad. He also moved up to a full bed so that the twins could have his bed and he loves it. He just keeps on growing.

Right now he is really enjoying gymnastics and learning all that he can. He has all of his letters down and can count pretty high (depending on the day). I can't believe that in a year and a half he will be going off to school. He is really enjoying all types of board games as well. Every night once the twins are down we have game time where he gets to play one of his games/puzzles. He lives for these moments. It is also a nice time to have one on one with him. Below are some pictures of the birthday party. Happy Birthday big boy!!

Monster Jam!! Woohoo!

Monster Jam was a monster success. Eli, McKenzie, Josh, Kyle, and I got to go see the monster trucks last night. They started off a little sluggish but after a junk food snack they became energized. They were up clapping and dancing and playing with their monster trucks they brought with them. They really did seem to enjoy themselves. Eli kept on talking about all the different trucks and who they were. You could just see him watch everything they were doing and his facial expressions were hysterical. If there was a big crash he would have his hand over his mouth in shock. It was a great time, for families with a lot of boys I believe we may be doing this for years to come.

The twins were lucky enough to get to stay home with Grandma McIntyre. They had a lot of fun playing and getting spoiled. They are still doing well and no Mom has not been able to switch them to big beds yet, I know it will come soon but just not ready. They are still causing havoc wherever we go. They are really enjoying coloring these days and enjoy sitting in the playroom to do this. (this is our designated coloring room) I did have one day someone trying to sneak coloring books and crayons into the kitchen. So when I took that away there was a major fit and little did I know I missed one crayon. I had a lovely brown line all over my white kitchen cabinets. Just a little extra art for the house.

Well we hope all is well and below are some pictures from Monster Jam!

This was our favorite truck that night.

Yes We Are Still Here

Sorry for the delay in posts but it has been a very hectic few weeks. With a very sick weekend and two play off games after that things have been a little crazy around here. Three of the five of us got a 24 hour bug of vomiting. It was not so much fun but at least it did not last too long and it was over the weekend. The big news is that Eli has been doing gymnastics since Christmas.

He loves it!!! He is very good at all the stuff he does, however he is a little impatient with the teachers. He just wants to keep on going and he gets frustrated when they make him slow down. He is doing really well and enjoys his alone time with one of us. After watching him with other 3 and 4 year olds I am seeing that he is getting so big. He is all of a sudden too tall for his 3T shirts, the pants have been short for a while. It is pretty sad that he is getting so big.

The twins are doing well, we are preparing for big boy beds. I say preparing because every time the day draws near that we said we are going to do it I back out. It is really taking a toll on me to think that my babies are getting that big. Yes they are ready, but I am not!! The twins are doing very well except for some temper tantrums here and there but we are doing well.

Attached are pictures from gymnastics, up next is Monster Jam so stay tuned for pictures, ok just kidding pictures for some reason are not working. I will try later.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

We hope that everyone had a great holiday with their family and friends. Ours was a great time but it felt like we were in the middle of a tornado. So much to do so little time and throw in presents and it gets crazy. The boys loved it of course and enjoyed all the spoiling. They were definitly acting like it by the end of the weekend. They wanted constant attention from someone! They got amazing presents from Santa. Eli even heard his bells at night, "that is the real santa, I can not get out of bed"! We left a note and cookies, carrots, and chocolate milk. for some reason Eli wanted him to have Chocolate milk. The boys got a lot of great gifts. Some of the favorites are a Kitchen, a rocket launcher (thanks Aunt Andrea!), fire truck and dump trucks, trampoline, and we could go on and on. Grandparents are way too good to us. We enjoyed catching up with family and seeing everyone. Attached are pictures through out Christmas.

Yes that is the twins somewhere in there. They were definitly unsure of what was going on, it was right after nap. Eli loved the snow and could have stayed out there all night.
